SCRIPTURE: Psalm (NIV) 48:10 Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness.
OBSERVATION: If this was true in the days of King David (1500 BC) how much more is it true today! It the psalmist day, they only had the promises of a Messiah coming who would free them from the penalty of sin. BUT TODAY, we know the truth: Jesus has come and completed that sacrifice!!! He is worthy of our praise!
In Christ we have freedom from the fear of sin’s penalty! And now we have the presence of the Holy Spirit accompanying us personally. —wherever we live!
APPLICATION: “The end of the earth” would probably be considered differently from our different locations. And each of us are probably at the “end of the earth” for someone on the other side of this planet.
All I know is that this “end of the earth” (where I live) will hear the praise of God from my mouth.
PRAYER: O God, you are worthy of praise at every place on earth. With confidence I can say that there is no place I will be today where you are not worthy of praise! I take the responsibility to make sure those living with me at this “end of the earth” hear your praise. Amen
