March 17: Deuteronomy 32-34; 1Corinthians 2

…but God…

Scripture: 1Corinthians (NIV) 2:9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"—
10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

Observation: There is nothing like the two words “but God” to turn negatives into positives. No one can see it, no one can hear it, and no mind can even think it but God reveals it to us!

Application: As I look back I recall times I should have failed, times I should have been killed, times I should have lost my way, BUT GOD was with me and brought me through. As I look ahead I know that there will be times when my strength will fail, times when I will not know what to do or say, times when things will appear over, BUT GOD will be there to bring me through!

Prayer: Lord, seeing you in my past encourages me to look for you in my future! Amen.
