Pastor Leon’s SOAP: Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer

October 23: Job 13-14; Acts 17-18

Scripture: Acts (NIV) 17:26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 For in him we live and move and have our being.

Observation: What a God! What a plan! What a revelation to know that all mankind is close to God. Man was created and put upon this earth to be close to God. He who is everywhere present (omnipresent) surrounds us. Mankind lives and moves within the presence of our Creator!

Application: As amazing as is the fact that I live and move and have my being within God—it is even more amazing to think that God lives and moves within me! When I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord, He made me His dwelling place!!! (1John 4:15-16)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, to know you and to experience your life within me is the greatest blessing of all. It is to be blest with the completion of what you planned for me. May our relationship bring you joy as it has brought me great joy! Amen
