February 27, 2017: SOAP #2643:  Numbers 21-23; Mark 6-7

Scripture:  Mark (NIV) 7:21 For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.  23 All these evils come from inside and make a man ‘unclean’.”

Observation:  Obviously, being unclean is a heart matter before it becomes a word or action matter.

Application:   First:  Deeds begin with thoughts.  To live right, I must think right.  Second:  Jesus lives in my heart.  If I want Him to feel at home, then I must be careful about the thoughts I entertain.

Prayer:   Heavenly Father, I want you to enjoy living in my life. I want others to see a life that pleases you.  Amen
